A navigation canal from the year 1789, which was a technical unique in the past. It has put together basins of rivers Labe (Elbe) and Dunaj (Donau). Canal started on slope of mountain Kužel above the Nové Údolí. On the canal were timber floated to the river Mühle and than to Dunaj. The canal is 57,8 km long and its width is 2,7 metres. Canal partly functioned to the year 1962.
